The cover of this book was designed with great care. When our daughter Jacklin was 6 years old her grandpa had been living in a room next to her for several months. She was very glad to have him next door and she often drew pictures for him to hang on his wall.

The Preface

I began writing this book during one of dad’s hospital stays several years ago. At the time I was just gathering notes in a binder while jotting down my thoughts in conjunction with the medical information given that day.

This book is about the last few chapters in the life of a man who endured a journey through many illnesses including cancer and what you can do to help someone you may know to walk this same path; these are the lessons I learned.
